Clinics and Group Lessons that are available to Students.

The clinics we offer here at North Star stables are all encompassing. They are a valuable tool in improving yourself as a rider in all areas, from the basics on up to showing. I always say that every rider has something to work on and the clinics are a great opportunity to tune up your skills and learn some new things along the way. From Beginners to Advanced, all levels of riding are addressed. With fun and various activities throughout the clinics, we touch on areas such as different riding styles, grooming, learning more about the horse and breeds, riding patterns, horse etiquette and safety, and even some games thrown into the mix. Each participant will experience a one-on-one as well as a group lesson atmosphere. There are plenty of new and exciting things to learn about horses every day, and you can’t go wrong with the wonderful people and equines of North Star Stables.

Beginner HORSE BACK RIDING- Adult & Child Focused

This weekend class is tailored just for beginners of all ages, young and old, experienced or novice. Enjoy this class with your child or with some friends learning the basics and more. For our next dates, please visit our Calendar page.

Rider Safety Clinic- Adult & Child Focused

The Equine Education that every responsible horse person and owner should have. This program offers adults a valuable equine education on horse health and safety. This two-day course includes the following curriculum; HORSE SAFETY, EMERGENCY VET CARE, BEDS AND BEDDING, HOOF CARE, CARING FOR INJURIES, NUTRITION AND FEED,
COLOR AND MARKINGS. See more information

SUMMER & MEA HORSE CLINICS - Child Focused

Our summer & MEA Weekend Horse clinics are for kids of all ages and all riding levels. This program offers youth an opportunity to ride but also learn all about horse from breed characteristics to taking care of tack. We'll even do some crafts. Youth have the opportunity to get to know their assigned horse and care for them through out camp. This is a can't miss camp for your kids.
